Context

Frenchies, brewery, restaurant & bakery in Sydney

Frenchies brings Parisian bistronomy culture to the Australian table, both on the plate and in the glass. It is the adventure of 2 passionate Frenchmen in Sydney, entrepreneurs who created a restaurant, a micro-brewery with award-winning craft beers and a bakery-patisserie at The Cannery Rosebery, Newton, Sydney. After a chance meeting on Fitzroy Island in Australia, we worked together on this project a few years later.

Three versions of the Frenchies logotype (bistro, brewery, bakery) and their colours: #c9c3b7, #f18176, #e4a31c

Giving a brand a personality by building a visual universe true to its identity.

In English, “Frenchie” is also the name for the French bulldog, and Vincent & Thomas were keen on this mascot spirit for their venue. Two key words also inspired the work: elegance and seduction.

The venue has now been open for 10 years.
